What this is

41 geography games from one static dataset: five daily puzzles that are the same for everyone, timed name-them-all quizzes that fill in a live map as you type, flag quizzes with neighbouring countries as decoys, click-the-map games for every continent and the fifty states, and higher-or-lower rounds on area, population, latitude, mountains and borders.

The country list is the usual 197: the 193 United Nations members plus Vatican City, Palestine, Kosovo and Taiwan. Continents follow the UN geoscheme, so Russia, Cyprus and Kosovo count as Europe, Turkey and the Caucasus as Asia, and Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean as North America.

Borders come from Natural Earth, populations from the World Bank, areas and capitals from the open countries dataset, all rounded reference figures. Everything is static JSON drawn in your browser: no account, no server, nothing you type leaves the page. Scores, streaks and today's guesses are kept in this browser only.
