How it works
Distances run between the geographic centres of the two states, so a guess of Kansas against a Colorado answer reads a few hundred kilometres west. Under 1,500 km counts as a near miss in the share grid.
Outlines are the US Census Bureau shapes via the us-atlas project, drawn in the same Albers projection as the map games, which is why Alaska is not the size of Texas. A new state at midnight UTC.
